Google says thanks, and Merry Christmas

Dec 23, 2010

Check out this little link that Google has been sending out showing how Googlers have helped over 50 Million people out this year by donating 20 Million to charities around the world. http://www.google.com/landing/thankyou/2010/ I think it was a nice gesture of Google. Map of the Word of Facebook

Map of the Word of Facebook

Dec 20, 2010

This map just illustrates how people use Facebook to connect across the globe. Facebook intern Paul Butler was interested in the locations of friendships, so he decided to create a visualization of Facebook connections around the globe. How local are our friends? I thought honestly that I would like it more than I do. While some features are nice, some are not. The Info box is no longer useful, as it’s been buried. Before it was...

DDWRT Screencast

DDWRT Screencast

Nov 22, 2010

I made a little screencast for installing DDWRT on my Linksys WRT54GL v1.1 Router, and it only takes 2 mins! What’s funny is that it mostly took that long so I’d be going slow enough so you would see what I was doing. Very easy, but you must watch it at high resolution in order to see the detail. (Make sure to choose at least 720p to see it...
