I enjoy Swift, and I would recommend it, however, I don't feel I need to promote it on the footer of every single page across my site. If I was a theme designer, I wouldn't mind. But I also can't control what is on the swift themes website after a year or two, and I wouldn't want to be linking to the site then. I linked to a bad site in footer before that nuked my google rating, and I'm much more aware of who I link to now.
