So I just signed up with Technorati. I’ll provide a review here after I’ve claimed my website and gotten everything activated.

This first thing they’ve made me do is add this code to a post…. Weird but eh let’s see how it goes…

So what is Technorati? It’s..

From CrunchBase:

Technorati is a search engine service launched in June 2002 by founding CEO Dave Silfry. The service allows you to find the most relevant results on all media including blogs, photos, videos and audio files. Technorati used to focus solely on blog search results but have opened up to all media given that more mainstream users are using its service.

In May 2007, Technorati completely re-designed their home page to respond to their more mainstream users. They now have a single search box instead of using search types like keyword search, tag search and blog directory search. Results are returned in categories like videos, blogs and music.

Technorati’s competitors include GoogleIceRocket and Feedster.

Jason, in fact I was mentioned to you about the Technorati Media ads, which you can see in my Funky blog, the top of my sidebar and 2 more elsewhere. Clint is right, it's CPM ads, no matter how many clicks, they pay u base on impressions. But Clint, do u received any payment from them b4? Do we need to request for payment withdrawal or they will just send us payment via Paypal once we reached the min. payout amount? I wrote to them twice but no reply…

Wow really? I didn’t even know they had CPM ads, I’ll look into that?
But if they do have CPM ads, why do they use Google Ads on their own homepage?

I’ll need to investigate a bit more! Thanks Clint!
