New Design for Green Complex

So it’s been far too long overdue for a fresh coat of paint.
I’ve chosen this theme and I really like it, well after my modifications of course!

There’s a lot of exciting new content coming up soon so I’d keep a close watch if I were you! Coming up we have some new chrome extensions, bookmarklets, a screen cast for setting up Windows 2008 R2 Server Core with Oracle Virtual box on top of it! (Trust me, it’s actually interesting…) I really like the screencasts. Oh and also I’m launching a new network very soon, it will be big, so keep an eye out on for it…

NEW YEAR! NEW DESIGN! NEW SERVER!

Green Complex is still “Settling in” with this new design, so please excuse the dust while I get everything back in order! There’s a few flaws here and there, but I’ll work the kinks out as they come up. The new layout should also make finding some of the older articles easier too, so nose around, there’s plenty here to discover! Oh, and I’m open to new suggestions, additions, and new writers if anyone out there is interested! Also worth mentioning is that I’m on a new server now, a VPS provided by Linode Hosting (My referral link) If you do decide to use them (I’m very picky and did tons of research before choosing a provider) my final choices were between Linode and Slicehost. Well Linode had better performance remarks about it, and slicehost was more expensive so guess what I chose? Linode, and actually, I’ve been throughly impressed! Their tech support responded within 5 mins anytime day or night if I had a question. Now, I can’t imagine how much better it would be if I were paying for a managed server, but at $19 bucks a month, it’s unbeatable!

New Forum Launch

Green Wallpapers and a R4D New URL Shortener

Green Complex is proud to announce two new websites that have been added to our network!

The first one is a subdomain of green.cx called wp.green.cx

Obviously it’s a wallpaper website, so far, it only has wallpapers submitted by me. I may do a write up on how to make your own wallpaper website for those who are interested.

The Other is a simple URL shortener, that mimics many of the bit.ly features most are familiar with.

It’s still Beta, but you’re free to use it, and more instructions will be posted over there on R4D.

Is there anydirection I should take either of these sites? What would you do with them? I’m open to your suggestions! You’re welcome to comment, twitter, use the suggestion box on the lower right, Facebook me, whatever!
